अलगाववादी नेता मसरत आलम ने गुरुवार को कहा कि उन्हें रैली में लोगों द्वारा पाकिस्तानी झंडे फहराने में कुछ भी गलत नहीं दिखा। मसरत आलम ने ऐसा तब कहा है जब केंद्र सरकार ने जम्मू-कश्मीर सरकार को इस मामले में कड़ा कदम उठाने का निर्देश दिया है। केंद्र ने प्रदेश सरकार से कहा कि है कि ऐंटि-इंडिया रैली करने वालों को बख्शा नहीं जाए।

अलगाववादी नेता मसरत आलम गिरफ्तार, गिलानी नजरबंद केंद्र सरकार के कड़े रुख के बाद श्रीनगर में अलगाववादी मसरत आलम को नजरबंदी के बाद गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। मसरत आलम ने बुधवार को अलगाववादी हुर्रियत नेता सैयद अली शाह गिलानी की रैली में पाकिस्तान के समर्थन में देश को तोड़ने के नारे लगाए थे और लोगों को पाकिस्तानी झंडे को फहराने के लिए उकसाया था। इससे पहले मसरत के साथ ही गुरुवार की रात को सैयद अली शाह गिलानी को भी नजरबंद कर लिया गया था। इन दोनों का शुक्रवार को दक्षिण कश्मीर के त्राल में रैली में भाग लेने का कार्यक्रम था।
